Invitation to

40th Anniversary Celebration!

Remember what you were doing forty years ago this Christmas? Probably not! But here in Waterbury, a group of concerned parents were putting the finishing touches on a gift for their children; they were incorporating a new organization, which would eventually become C. N. V. Help, Inc.

Help, Inc. is proud to be celebrating its 40th anniversary as an organization dedicated to the behavioral health needs of some of Connecticut's most marginalized women and men. Over these past decades, countless (almost 7,000) clients have passed through the doors of our programs. Some of them have done very well and now lead healthy, constructive lives. Others are still working through their struggles one day at a time.

These forty years have seen a lot of comings and goings, a lot of growth, a lot of healthy accomplishments, a lot of lives changed for the better. How then do we celebrate forty such meaningful years? An open house? A banquet? A holiday gala? The ideas were not scarce, but they all meant getting dressed up, traveling to Waterbury and eating another unneeded meal. Right?

Wrong! We cleverly arrived at a solution that is, in itself, a gift - to YOU!

You are hereby invited to C. N. V. Help, Inc's 40th Anniversary Non-Event.

Instead of buying a ticket, paying for a new outfit, coming to dinner and buying other unnecessary stuff - we ask you to, instead, put that money towards a contribution that will really make a difference in the lives of our clients. Please send in your donation today. This way you get more time to stay at home to celebrate with family and friends, all the while supporting a very valuable and worthwhile mission of helping people in recovery.

Please join us in celebrating forty years, and enjoy "staying home" this holiday season - our gift of gratitude to you!
